Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the NSE Insights website, dashboards and data services (collectively, the Service) operated by NSE Insights Kenya Limited (we, us). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Kenyan law. You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

2. Subscriptions and payment

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled. Prices are in Kenya Shillings and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe (cards) or Safaricom Daraja (M-Pesa). We never store your card or PIN.

• You may cancel any time from your account page. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: if you cancel within 7 days of your first payment and have not exported data, we'll refund in full. After that, no partial refunds for unused time.
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

3. Data and research — not investment advice

The Service provides data, analytics and research tools relating to securities listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. All content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal or tax advice, nor a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.

While we take care to present accurate data sourced from the NSE, company filings and other public sources, we do not warrant completeness, timeliness or freedom from error. You should independently verify any data before making a financial decision. We are not a licensed investment adviser.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Re-sell, redistribute or republish data or analytics from the Service without written consent;
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data at volumes beyond typical personal use;
• Reverse-engineer or circumvent any access or usage limit;
• Share your account credentials with other people or organisations;
• Use the Service to breach any law or to infringe any third party's rights.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its code, design, analytics, and curated data compilations, is owned by NSE Insights Kenya Limited and protected by Kenyan and international law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes, subject to these Terms.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend or withdraw features at any time. Material changes affecting paid tiers will be communicated by email with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@nseinsights.co.ke or cancelling from your account page. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, in which case pre-paid fees are non-refundable for that period.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. The courts of Nairobi have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any consumer-protection rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
